That's a good question, you always see him on the left of my blog, but who the f.... is he?
Well I "met" him last year during my trip on the East Coast of the United States in the State of Maine.
In Bangor to be specific. It's a statue of Mister Paul Bunyan. Bangor, Maine claims to be both the birthplace of the lumber industry and the birthplace of the mythic character. The statue was donated to bangor in 1959 on bangor's 125th anniversary and designed by a local artist called J. Norman Martin, who was paid $ 137 for his effort. I like the guy, wearing his Buffalo checked shirt and workboots. He represents for me the"Rugged Americana" look.
